DRIVERS are being reminded that the main road through a York village is set to close for works to be carried out.
City of York Council says that part of Main Street in Poppleton is set to shut from 8am tomorrow (September 21) and will repopen at 6pm on Sunday.
The closure is due to water mains works.
An alternative route for diverted vehicles will be signed during the works period via Millfield Lane, Long Ridge Lane, The Green will the works are being carried out.
