Avant Homes North Yorkshire has partnered with the Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust to deliver 69 new and affordable homes.

The move comes as part of ambitions from the York-based trust to provide 1,000 new and affordable homes by 2029.

The new homes will be built at Greensward Point in Easingwold and Greenlock Place in Leeds, both Avant Homes developments.

This partnership highlights Avant Homes’ ongoing commitment to offering a mix of private sales, rentals and affordable homes.

These energy efficient homes will be rated B or higher for the Energy Performance Certificate, reflecting Avant Homes and JRHT’s commitment to sustainability and affordability.

At Greensward Point in Easingwold, the development will include two and three-bedroom detached and semi-detached properties.

The first 12 homes have already been handed over to the Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust, with the remaining 22 homes expected to be completed by summer 2025.

Rented homes in Easingwold will be advertised through the North Yorkshire Home Choice scheme. Interested buyers for shared ownership can email sales@jrht.org.uk.

In Greenlock Place in Leeds, Avant Homes will offer one- and two-bedrooms flats, as well as two and three bedroom semi-detached properties, all anticipated to be ready by summer 2025.
