York-based Laura Robson is launching an online membership to help small businesses with their marketing tech.

Laura, who runs Back Pocket Office, offers a range of tech services, including support with email marketing, building sales funnels and creating online courses.

The Back Pocket Office Hub, an online membership community, aims to make tech support more accessible to small businesses and entrepreneurs.

The finalist in the The Press BusinessiQ Awards 2024, said: “The Back Pocket Office Hub is designed for small business owners and entrepreneurs who find themselves stuck with aspects of their marketing tech but are unsure where to turn for help.

“Small businesses often don’t have the budget to outsource their tech, but they may be looking for advice on starting their first online course, how to set up a sales funnel, or just to improve their digital skills. Membership starts at just £7 a month, and offers access to my many years of knowledge and expertise plus lots of practical resources and training.

“I’ve created a bank of useful online resources, including video tutorials on popular topics like how to use Canva, how to start a Facebook group, and how to get set up on social media. You’ll also find lots of written articles, which are informative rather than teaching skills.”

The membership is being hosted on the Healthy Minds Club platform, giving members access to its wellbeing resources – with information on everything from menopause to finance and a range of discount codes for popular high street brands.

Laura explained: “I’m passionate about supporting people in business more holistically, so I want to create an online community that’s a unique combination of tech and wellness.”

People can opt for higher levels of Laura’s membership if they need extra support with one-to-ones or live group online Q&A sessions.

Laura also plans to offer training via live online courses, and will continue to run her free Back Pocket Office Facebook group offering tech advice, help and guides for entrepreneurs.

Laura, who previously worked in Healthcare Science and IT project delivery - including working in the NHS, added: “I describe myself as the nerd you need to help you create beautifully simple systems for your small business.

"I love helping brilliant entrepreneurs and small business owners to work smarter, not harder, and have confidence in technical solutions which streamline their workflows – making life in business that little bit easier.”
