EMERGENCY crews have been called in after flooding at home in North Yorkshire.
The county’s fire and rescue service say they were called in at 6.42am today (September 27) after reports of flooding at a home in Filey.
A service spokesman said at 7.15am: “Filey crew are currently in attendance at a property to assist with flooding inside.
“Crews are using a main pump to attempt to pump water out of property.”
At 1.12am they were called out to Scarborough after concerns over potential flood water entering a property there. They used a light portable pump to remove as much excess water as possible from around the property and pumped it into road drains.
Meanwhile at 7.31pm on Thursday night they were called out to Brotherton.
A spokesman said: “On that occasion Selby crew attended a property after a neighbour reported water gushing from an over flow.
“After a full inspection crew isolated the gas supply. The house was unoccupied and there appeared to be no water inside the property.”
