A pub in York is set to close for the last time this weekend.
The Museum Street Tavern, in Museum Street, will close for the last time on Sunday (September 29).
Formerly known as Thomas's Bar, the tavern opened in August of 2023.
In that time the grade two listed building has undergone a makeover. But sadly, the owners have announced its imminent closure.
In a statement published on their social media pages, they said: "Very sad to have to write that we are closing.
"Unfortunately the circumstances we find ourselves in mean, despite what we would want, we just can't continue.
"We will be open on Saturday & Sunday this week for drinks & we would love to see as many of you as possible.
"Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last year & a bit, it means the world."
