POLICE in York are trying to trace a man after a theft in a city suburb.
North Yorkshire Police has issued this CCTV image of a man they want to speak to following a theft of a bike at 4.25pm on September 11 in Turner Close in Heworth.

A police spokesman said: “It involved a man taking a bike which its owner had left aside whilst repairing the front wheel.
“Please contact us if you recognise the man pictured on CCTV, as he may have information that will assist our investigation.
