TRESPASSERS on the line are disrupting York rail services this afternoon.
LNER says services on the East Coast Mainline have been delayed today after trespassers blocked lines between Darlington and Newcastle.
Trains running between these stations on the route may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes, or revised.
“We’re working with Network Rail to get our services moving again as quickly as possible. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused,” said a spokesperson for LNER.
Disruption is expected until 1.15pm.
