A MAN has been spotted trying car doors in a North Yorkshire village.

Police have issued this image of a man they would like to speak to, following ‘motor vehicle interference’ in a village close to Selby.

“It happened at around 4.30am on September 15, on Pinfold Lane, Carlton and involved a man trying car door handles,” said a spokesperson for the force.

Please contact the police if you recognise the man pictured on CCTV, as he may have information that will assist their investigation.
