A major road in York has fully reopened after more than a month of roadworks.
National Highways has announced that the A64 eastbound, between the A1036 at Askham Bar, and A19 at Fulford, has reopened following a crash on September 1.
The extensive works followed a crash, which saw the bridge parapet damage.

Drivers experienced a series of delays during the works, which saw the road reduced to a single carriage way.
National Highways service manager, Mandy Foster, said at the time that the closure was "for everyone's safety", and they thanked drivers for their patience.
