FIRE crews were called out in North Yorkshire - whilst engineers were testing the alarm system.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Services were called out to an address in Whitby at 11:10am this morning (October 4) after a fire alarm was activated.
"After inspection it was discovered the alarm activation was by engineers testing the alarm system," said a spokesperson.
Advice was given.
