Youngsters linked with Haxby and Wigginton Youth and Community Association's Community Ties initiative have created an art installation at Oaken Grove Community Centre.
The project took place as part of the national Youth Work Week celebration.
National Youth Agency, which organises Youth Work Week, invited young people to participate in an Art of Youth Work campaign this year by creating original music, dance, spoken word, or visual art for display purposes.
More than 40 young people from the Craftive Crafting Club, Wednesday Youth Group, and Drop-in groups contributed to the Oaken Grove Community Centre installation, creating a tree symbolising what youth work means to them.
Youth manager Alysha Smith said: "The artwork, based on the tree logo of Oaken Grove Community Centre, will enable our young people to personally and creatively express how vitally important our youth groups and youth provisions are to them and the Haxby and Wigginton Community."
Leigh Middleton, National Youth Agency CEO, said: "We know that youth work transforms lives, but it’s only by seeing the energy and dynamic which often exists between young people and their youth workers that you can begin to understand how they support young people’s confidence and life skills."
Youth Work Week took place from November 4 to November 10.
