York and North Yorkshire has a host of winners in the 2024 Campsites.co.uk Camping and Glamping Awards.
Organisers say these awards were created to highlight some of the best camping, glamping and touring sites the UK has to offer.
York’s Flaxton Meadows was awarded Best Adult Only Campsite (North East).
They commented: “With a popular onsite bar, freshly made pizza and fantastic onsite facilities this site really stood out to us.
“This eco-conscious site has a lake with ducks as well as their very own hens and even hedgehogs!”
