A WINDOW was smashed in an attempted burglary in coastal North Yorkshire.
North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information after an unsuccessful burglary in Ramsey Street, Scarborough earlier this month.
The incident is thought to have happened between Monday November 4 and Wednesday November 13.
"A window was smashed at the back of a property and the door was forced however the suspect(s) were unsuccessful and did not manage to get in," said a police spokesperson.
Police are appealing for any CCTV footage that covers the area of Ramsey Street, or the lane between there and Prospect Road, and details of suspicious circumstances that may have happened during this time.
