Dog fouling in York: no such thing as bad dogs, only bad owners

DARKER evenings and mornings are problematic for dog walkers as far as finding and removing their poo.

Before venturing out have a couple of poo bags opened and ready for use, have a torch in your hand, never ever let your dog of the lead, particularly in the dark or at least until it's done its business.

If and when it does its duty, keep your eyes on the offending poo (with a lot of leaves about the poo is easily lost from view). Pick up a dispose of correctly.

Pets are a wonderful addition to any family and it's up to the owners to clean up after them.

There is no such thing as bad dogs, usually it's bad owners

No way to easily sack NHS managers

Wes Streeting has made a public declaration that he will set targets for hospital managers to try to speed up the health system.

He also states that if they don't meet these targets he will sack them.

This is where he will fall down: there is no possible way to sack a manager in the health service unless they have committed a major crime.

The manager will immediately be cosseted; union reps and legal eagles will have endless inquiries blaming the manager's staff or any other person associated with that particular department.

They will then be sent home on full pay while a stand-in is appointed.

In the meantime nothing is being done to help the patients.

After about a year to two years they will decide to resign on three years' their annual salary and a full over-inflated pension pot.

In the meantime nothing is done to help the NHS cash crisis - it has been swallowed up in the dismissal inquiries.

Welcome to the Government's bill for employment rights.
