A cyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance after suffering a serious leg injury in a crash in York.
North Yorkshire Police said the incident happened at 6.04pm tonight (Friday, November 15) and involved a woman on a bicycle and a white van.
Emergency services were at the scene at the junction of Rawcliffe Lane and Shipton Road, in the Clifton Green area of York, where the road was closed.
A police spokesperson said: "She (the cyclist) was taken by land ambulance to York Hospital with a serious leg injury which is not believed to be life-threatening."
The road re-opened at 8.50pm tonight (Friday, November 15), police said.
Witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage of the incident should make a report to North Yorkshire Police by calling 101 quoting reference NYP-15112024-0392.
