A person was rescued in a river drama in York early this morning.
Firefighters from York, Acomb, and Selby responded to the emergency call shortly after 4am after the person was seen in the river.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service also responded.
The firefighters used a triple extension ladder to reach the person in the water and bring them to safety.
Paramedics took over and ensured that the person got the necessary medical treatment.
