A WOMAN and a man have been attacked at a taxi rank in York.
North Yorkshire Police has issued CCTV of two men they want to speak to following a violent assault at the Duncombe Place taxi rank in York close to York Minster between 4am and 4.30am on Wednesday, November 6.
A police spokesman said: “During the incident, a man and a woman were repeatedly assaulted, leaving the man with serious injuries, including black eyes and a broken nose.
“The suspects initially met the victims and another woman at The Drawing Board bar, and followed them to Duncombe Place where the assault occurred.”
One of the men is described as being in his late 20s to early 40s, with blonde hair with a receding hairline. He is described as short, with a larger build, and was wearing a leather jacket resembling a bar uniform.
The second man is described as being in his late 20s to early 40s, tall, with a beard, glasses, and light brown hair with a receding hairline.
