A POPULAR city centre shop is set to close today.
Lush on Coney Street is set to close today (November 20) at 12pm - ahead of the new location opening further down the street on Friday.

On the day, they will also be free product-making workshops on opening day and Saturday November 23 between 12 - 4pm, for customers to make their very own bath bomb to take home.
In addition to this larger store, Lush is currently running a stall at the York Christmas markets where various items from the winter selection – such as the iconic Snow Fairy range and none soap gifts, such as tote bags and pin badges.
This stall will bridge the gap between the two Coney street locations during the closing period and also offer a new experience for market goers.
On the new location, store manager Sarah Baker said: “With more space comes more products and we’re thrilled to be open and raring to go at our favourite (and busiest) time of the year. We can’t wait to welcome our customers so they can experience all the magic that Lush York has to offer.”
