TRAFFIC is heavier as normal after a crash on a major York road.
One lane of the outer ring road was closed earlier this afternoon after two vehicles crashed at the Crockey Hill, close to York Designer Outlet.
Whilst congestion is beginning to clear, traffic is still heavy.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "A crew from York responded to a report of a 2 vehicle road traffic collision. On arrival, all occupants were out of the vehicles.
"Crews administered first aid to 2 casualties whilst they awaited the arrival of ambulance crews. Crews also provided assistance to police officers on scene in carrying out traffic management."
