STORM Bert has caused disruption on travel routes out of York and around Yorkshire.
Northern, a York based train operator, has announced that some services in Yorkshire are unable to run after Storm Bert hit the region last night.
Services between York and Blackpool North, and between York/Leeds and Manchester Victoria, are currently blocked at Bradford Interchange with no rail replacement services offered.
This is due to disruption between Hebden Bridge and Todmorden.

“Storm Bert is expected to bring heavy rain and snow, together with strong winds throughout the weekend. This may cause disruption to the journeys running across the Northern network resulting in services being may be cancelled, delayed or revised,” said a Network Rail spokesperson.
Ticket restrictions have been lifted for those travelling on this route and ticket acceptance with Transpennine Express is in place.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day with travel currently normal on LNER and TransPennine Express routes.
