A BOTTLE has been lit then thrown at a house in a street near Selby before suspects drove off, say police.
North Yorkshire Police said a vehicle entered Willow Bank in Brayton at 9.23pm on Saturday, November 23, a suspect set a bottle alight and threw it towards a house before leaving the street.
The force has launched an appeal, and a North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re particularly appealing for any video doorbell or CCTV footage capturing any vehicle entering Willow Bank, or in the area of Mill Lane, Ashtree Drive or The Poplars between 9.22pm and 9.26pm on November 23.
“Please email bethany.seivewright@northyorkshire.police.uk if you have any information that could help our investigation.
“Alternatively, you can call North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option two and ask for PC 1172, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website.
