A woman who first competed in the Tockwith Agricultural Show when she was 12 years old has now been named the 2025 president.
Jo Sutton, owner of Joywyns Pet and Country food store, just outside Wetherby, competed in the pony class as a youngster.
Her company is also the main sponsor of the 2025 show.
Ms Sutton said: "The offer of becoming president came totally out of the blue, but I had absolutely no hesitation in accepting it.
"Tockwith Show has always had a real sense of community.
"I remember how excited I was when I competed as a child, so this is a real honour."
The show was not held this year due to a shortage of helpers, but it will be returning in August next year following a successful appeal for new volunteers.
Ms Sutton has chosen to support two local charities during her year in office: Saint Michael’s Hospice in Harrogate and the Yorkshire Children's Charity.
