Police are investigating an alleged incident of homophobic abuse and a theft in a high street shop in York.
North Yorkshire Police said at 5.44pm on Friday, November 8, a suspect stole four bottles of 'fragrance' as well as allegedly subjecting a member of staff to homophobic abuse.
The force has since released a photo of a person they'd like to speak to in connection with the investigation.
They added that the suspect "left on a black cycle heading towards Kings Square. The member of staff is receiving support from North Yorkshire Police.
"CCTV captured a man dressed distinctively in the area around the time of the incident. The photograph may jog people's memories."
