Two flood warnings remain in place for York in the aftermath of Storm Bert.
A warning for Naburn Lock has been stood down by the Environment Agency but riverside properties through York from Lendal Bridge to Millennium Bridge are still at risk of flooding.
Footpaths near the River Ouse in King’s Staith and Queen’s Staith, as well as Tower Gardens, remain under water today (Tuesday, November 26).
At 3.30pm, the Ouse was at 2.84m which is almost one metre above the top of its normal range.

The Environment Agency said river levels are falling in York and expects the Ouse to be within its normal range by mid-morning tomorrow.
“River levels in York have peaked following recent heavy rainfall associated with Storm Bert,” a spokesperson said.
They added: “No significant rainfall is expected for the next couple of days. The river is expected to continue falling slowly during Tuesday.
“Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses, and do not attempt to walk, drive or cycle through flood water.”
