A care home was full of "animal mischief" when a miniature therapy pony came to visit.
Boroughbridge Manor Care Home, in Boroughbridge, welcomed Cartier on Tuesday, November 26.
The residents were reportedly "pleasantly surprised" to see the pony roaming around the home.
Cartier offered company, affection, and cuddles to the residents.
Susan, the general manager, said: "Our residents have really enjoyed seeing the therapy pony today.
"We knew that he would be gratefully received by the residents, especially as some find it difficult to go on many outings in our minibus.
"We are always looking for new activities for the residents and today we have seen the enjoyment and the therapeutic influence animals can have on people."
Boroughbridge Manor Care Home is run by Barchester Healthcare, which provides residential care and dementia care across a range of care homes and hospitals.
Barchester Healthcare support 11,000 residents across 200 homes in total.
