The Blow Monkeys are set to perform at Scarborough Spa on Saturday (November 30).
The band, known for flying the flag of the "sophisti-pop" genre, will take to the stage following the release of their album, Together/Alone, earlier this year.
Frontman Dr Robert said of the band's new album: "Musically we wanted something stripped down - raw and funky.
"We've played an awful lot of gigs over the last few years, and I knew how good we could sound without all the embellishments.
"Can't wait to get out and play it to people.
"It's still the most fulfilling part of the job - the communion with the audience where, just for a moment, we all become one."
The Blow Monkeys formed in London in 1981 and were part of that decade's new wave pop scene.
After splitting in 1990, the band reunited in 2007 and have released six albums since then.
A compilation of tracks from this reunion period, Time Storm Greatest Hits, was released with Scottish label Last Night From Glasgow in 2023.
Tickets for the Scarborough Spa gig can be purchased at https://www.scarboroughspa.co.uk/whats-on/the-blow-monkeys
Doors open at 7pm.
The event is for over 14s only, and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult over 18.
