Scarborough’s Stephen Joseph Theatre (SJT) has shared details of new visiting shows for 2025.

The shows include Bull, from writer Mike Bartlett (of Doctor Foster fame), which will play at the SJT on February 1.

The play, originally performed at Sheffield's Crucible Studio Theatre, explores the fine line between "office politics and playground bullying."

Egg and Spoon, which takes to the stage on February 19 and February 20, is for young children and returns after a successful visit in 2023.

Billed as an interactive romp through the seasons, Egg and Spoon invites the audience to come in and out of a magic circle and open all the gifts of nature.

On May 11, six-piece, multi-instrumental band Raven will celebrate 20 years of performing with a concert featuring original songs, traditional music, and new work - all to raise funds for the SJT.

Showstopper! The Improvised Musical will come to the SJT on May 15.

Audience suggestions will be used to create a musical comedy from scratch in a display of all-singing, all-dancing improv.

Marshmallow Me, on May 19, tells the story of Rosie, a young northern girl chasing her acting dreams in the big city.

The dance opera is written and directed by Joseph Mercier, and presented by Glitterbomb Dancers and Northern School of Contemporary Dance.

On June 14, Sam Jewison will return with his brand-new show, Renaissance Man in a Jazz World.

Classic songs are to be expected, including Have You Met Miss Jones?, I’ve Got You Under My Skin, and Let’s Fall in Love.

Pulman and Stilgoe: A Couple of Swells, on June 25, will see songstress, comedienne, and one-third of Fascinating Aida, Liza Pulman, join forces with pianist, songwriter, and singer Joe Stilgoe to make old songs sound new and new songs feel like you've know them all your life.

Circle members have priority booking from Wednesday, November 27.

Shows will go on general sale at 10am on Wednesday, December 4.
