'What an idiot - this man is the most stupid shoplifter in York'

THE award for the most stupid shoplifter goes to Daniel Heaney.

Reading the article in the York Press 'Raider targeted cafe, restaurants and shop' which included the efforts of Heaney to steal washing powder from the Spar supermarket, on failing to notice the pull sign on the door, he accused the staff of locking him in, then kicked the glass door, smashing it before realising you just pulled the handle to exit the property.

Absolutely hilarious - you simply couldn't write it.

What an idiot.

The public already know what a woman is

Just when you think the judicial system couldn’t get any more demented, it happens anyway.

First the Supreme Court tries to overturn Brexit and obstruct the political process, then they go and decide it's for them to determine the nation's energy policy and now, these so called justices are going to rule on the definition of what a woman is.

Surely when they decide it's for them to determine the basic facts of biology, that’s enough proof to see this wretched court needs to be abolished and all its rulings deemed to be a mere blank piece of paper.

After all, how can you have a sovereign parliament at the same time as a Supreme Court?

Particularly one which believes its job is to be the role of political opposition.

Every time one of these cases is decided it represents yet another policy shift in the nation that none of us have any say in, and therefore is the very definition of undemocratic.

The public already know what a woman is, even if the Prime Minister doesn’t - so keep the bloody judges away from them.

No jobs for 16-24 year olds

THE number of people between the ages of 16-24 not in work for one reason or another is an unsustainable burden on the nation.

The government's answer is a bureaucratic update on job centres.

There is only one downside to this idea, there are no job vacancies for these young people to fill, the only growth pattern this government is creating is an upward graph of unemployment.

So much for Starmer's election claim of "your future is safe with us".

Creation of a greater Israel

IT'S as much a propaganda war, what's going on in Gaza, as it is a turkey shoot.

One wonders if Israel has, since October 7, 2023, been establishing a greater Israel by exterminating as many Gazans as possible, pushing out the rest, and destroying Gaza's infrastructure.

If we go by facts on the ground rather than public statements, the move towards a greater Israel is clear.

It's the big one this time. In the past they maybe thought they wouldn't get away with it.

However, the Hamas offensive of last year gave Israel the justification it needed, in their minds, anyway. But, I guess, the creation of a greater Israel has been in the making for a very long time.
