A group of day and boarding schools based in Thorpe Underwood has been recognised for its commitment to health and safety excellence.
Queen Ethelburga's Collegiate was awarded a Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Silver Award and a RoSPA Leisure Safety Silver Award.
The RoSPA Awards reportedly celebrates its 68th year of operation this year.
Julia Small, RoSPA’s achievements director, said: "Workplace accidents don't just pose financial risks and operational disruptions; they significantly impact the quality of life for individuals.
"This is why acknowledging and rewarding excellent safety performance is vital.
"We congratulate Queen Ethelburga’s Collegiate for winning two prestigious RoSPA Awards and showing an unwavering commitment to keeping employees, students, and the wider community safe from accidental harm and injury."
Following its two award wins, representatives of Queen Ethelburga's Collegiate were asked to deliver training on behalf of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, with a focus on "managing major incidents in an educational setting."
