Police have issued a CCTV image of a man officers want to speak to after alcohol was stolen from a supermarket in York city centre.
A man took a bottle of alcohol from Sainsbury’s in Piccadilly at about 9pm on Thursday, October 17, North Yorkshire Police said.
The force today (Monday, December 2) issued a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to about the incident.
A police spokesperson said: “We believe this man photographed by CCTV may have information that could help our investigation.”
They urged anyone who recognises him or has any information about the theft to email simon.garnett@northyorkshire.police.uk or call 101, select option two and ask for Simon Garnett.
