A SAFE with cash inside it has been stolen from a shop in a North Yorkshire town.
North Yorkshire Police said the burglary happened between 5pm on Friday, November 29 and 5am on Saturday, November 30 at the Holland and Barrett in Market Cross, Selby.
A force spokesperson said a safe containing a sum of money was taken and has issued an appeal for any CCTV images or witnesses to the burglary.
North Yorkshire Police said anyone with information that could help its investigation can email sam.potts@nortyorkshire.police.uk or call North Yorkshire Police on 101, and ask for Sam Potts, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website.
