Someone, somewhere at sometime said, “the one thing you can count on is change,” or words to that effect. HOW TRUE!
We occupy an infinitesimal space in the unimaginable extent of the universe, in which we exist on this indefinitely small earth, at any single second in time which changes from the last, and all life and substance reacts.
In present worrying times, it is good to remember that humanity has little or no effect on anything which is happening around us, outside our own survival, development and quality of life. So we should just get on with it; enjoy what we see around us and try to make improvements where we can, while we can.
At our age we have aches and pains, particularly at this time of year when the garden needs attention. Today, we started by opening the curtains to blue skies, spring colour in the garden, birds arriving in anticipation as we lay in bed and the paracetamols took effect. Then, up and about, doing what we have to do and we are going out to the lovely countryside around us. See you later, we hope!
