AS MANY OF your readers will be aware, the numbers of people with both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes is increasing.

These two types of diabetes are different but both rely on people being able to manage their diabetes themselves on a day-to-day basis. Some people struggle with this and need support and information in easily understandable, non-medical language.

The Insulin Dependent Diabetes Trust (IDDT) can help by supplying free information to your readers.

We are a charity formed by people who live with diabetes so we have experience and understanding of some of the day-to-day difficulties of living with the condition.

IDDT’s newsletter offers clear, easily-understandable information about many different aspects to living with diabetes.

The current newsletter contains articles about driving with diabetes, the treatment people with diabetes should be receiving, hypoglycaemia (low blood glucose levels), useful tips about injections and much more.

We are happy to send your readers this information free and we are always here with a listening ear to offer support and understanding. They just need to contact us on 01604 622837, email enquiries@iddtinternational.org or write to IDDT, PO Box 194, Northampton NN1 4XS.
