ONE sees that this Government is to allocate another £20 billion to banks so that they can loan small businesses money to keep going.

Fine, but is this going to work? The massive amount of money pumped into banks so they could lend people money who wanted to take out mortgages, etc, is not working.

Banks are not releasing money, so are they going to release monies to help small businesses, one wonders?

Now, let’s get down to basics. Who is going to fund this extra £20 billion? Yes, you have guessed it – the silly old British taxpayer.

God help us when we have to start paying for Gordon Brown’s extravaganza. The taxpayers of this country are taxed up to the hilt as it is.

This is going to hit people who are working and the old age pensioners of this country who have saved money for their retirement.

Paying back Brown’s borrowing fiasco will take years. He won’t care, nor will this Government.

It will be left to a Conservative Government to sort it out, as usual.
