Nation’s tragedy WHAT a brave, brilliant, supportive and lovely speech made by widower Christina Schmid, pictured, at the funeral of her hero husband Olaf.
It was so moving and I am sure it will have dampened the eyes of thousands of people who heard any of it.
Although I firmly believe our troops should not be in Afghanistan, I, like millions of other English folk, support and admire their actions and immense bravery.
It is so tragic that our nation loses people such as bomb disposal officer Olaf Schmid.
