A FRESH appeal for information has been issued by police searching for the missing University of York student Pierre Le Moignan, who has not been seen since Saturday morning.
A wallet, mobile phone, keys and a watch were found neatly piled underneath a hat, a pair of gloves and a scarf, by a riverside walker at the Millennium Bridge on Sunday morning. A handwritten letter was also found at the scene.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said today: “Inquiries are ongoing to locate missing man Pierre Le Moignan.
“If anyone has any information which could assist the investigation please get in touch. Even the smallest piece of information could make all the difference.”
Pierre is described as 5ft 4in tall, of thin build, medium light brown hair and wearing glasses.
At the time of his disappearance he was believed to have been wearing a red fleece with a tweed hat and a grey scarf and gloves.
