A NEW hydrotherapy pool at the Energise Leisure Centre (formerly Oaklands Leisure Centre) in York is now open.
The pool provides a welcoming place for people with physical and learning disabilities who may be unable to use other swimming pools.
The new pool means users can receive hydrotherapy, a therapeutic form of exercise in water, which allows greater freedom of movement.
The pool has hoists, changing beds and a state of the art light and sound system.
Specialist staff are also available on site to assist customers and their carers.
