Fairfax House, in York, will be opening its doors on Mother’s Day for a special afternoon concert.
The Red Saloon will be transformed into a music hall and visitors will be entertained by soprano Jessa Liversidge and pianist Malcolm Maddock, both from York Musical Theatre Company, who will perform a selection of well-known favourites from musicals and films. The concert will be followed by a special afternoon tea, including scones, jam, cream and cakes served in the house. The event takes place from 3.30pm to 5.30pm on Sunday, March 14.
