Horse box fire near Selby ‘suspicious’
FIREFIGHTERS from Selby were called to a blaze in a horse trailer between Burn and Haddlesey.
The alarm was raised by a passing motorist at 7am yesterday and firefighters took 45 minutes to bring the flames under control.
Selby watch manager Barry Martland said the cause of the fire in the empty trailer was being treated as suspicious.
