I WOULD like to congratulate the organisers of the Selby Sport Relief Mile.
The venue provided by Selby RUFC was excellent, particularly the seating for spectators (my parents are in their eighties and were very appreciative), the stewarding was friendly and the warm-up brilliant, if exhausting.
Many congratulations to all the other participants – and I hope that you enjoyed the day as much as I did and I am sure that you will have raised lots of money for Sport Relief and the very worthwhile projects it supports.
I was very pleased to participate, albeit slowly, and honoured to receive my medal at the end.
