THIRSK and Sowerby Harriers runner Gary Dunn took third place in a 377-strong field for the Hartlepool Marina 5 Road Race.
The high winds affected the times, with Dunn clocking 26 minutes 28 seconds, almost two minutes slower than previous runs.
Lee Walker was 49th in 31-52, while Iain Milner was 53rd in 32:07 and Paul Atkinson finished 68th in 33:06.
Nicola Booth finished 143rd in a time of 36:33.
Other Thirsk runners involved were Ken Evitt (145th in 36:37), Jill Knight (155th in 37:08), Kenny Rae (167th in 37:48), Steve Billings (199th in 39:20), Paul Walton (207th in 40:00), Adam Walker (232nd in 41:39), Steven Booth (246th in 42:20), Ian Codling (292nd in 44:52), Chris Sykes (303rd in 45:32), Pam Sherlock (357th in 52:31, Marian Codling (360th in 55:48) and Jean Sykes (372nd in 62:30).
