I'm pleased to report a follow-up to my original story about the plans of St Peter's School to add a busy access road and floodlit pitches at the bottom of Westminster Road.
The school has now written to residents stating that they had withdrawn plans for the road and pitches.
They mentioned the concerns of residents. The Council has now confirmed the withdrawal of the applications.
This is good news for local residents. Hopefully, a better dialogue has been established with the school which promises to involve residents in other planning matters.
