AUDIO BULLYS know how to test your patience. It has been four years since second album Generation propelled them into arguably being the UK’s finest electronic act, and it has been a long, long wait since.

Good job this is worth it then. While Generation took a more chilled-out approach, compared with 2003’s debut Ego War, Higher Than The Eiffel is a welcome return to the sound which took the club scene by storm.

Not that it will only appeal to rave fans. Single Kiss The Sky is a compelling mix of dance beats with a devilish lead guitar straight from the U2 stable, while Only Man, the other release to date, captures the crossover sound The Streets have been trying to achieve for years.

Simon Franks and Tom Dinsdale have produced another stellar record. Just don’t leave it so long next time.
