IT'S all about healthy eating at one York primary school, where enterprising pupils have been selling fruit and vegetables for charity.
As part of Healthy School Week at New Earswick Primary School, Year 6 pupils have been preparing all kinds of healthy snacks from fruit kebabs to carrot sticks to sell at break time.
Sally Harper, the school's deputy head teacher, who has been co-ordinating the initiative, said: "We have been very lucky and had the cooperation of lots of local businesses including Farmer's Cart and Somerfield.
"The children have really got into the idea of selling the food, which has been popular with children and staff alike."
The school raised £126 for The Press' Guardian Angels Appeal as a result of the event.
