I AM writing to ask what has happened to our legal system, since I have always felt it protected our most basic moral standards, especially for children?
I believe that it is illegal for anyone to expose themselves in public.
The Sexual Offences Act 2003 is now in force in England and Wales, and Section 66 clearly states this.
So why is the proposed World Naked Bike Ride being allowed to take place through our city, where there will be children, and many others who are offended by this behaviour ?
I agree totally with the use of bicycles to focus on the need to highlight the world energy crisis, but this seems to have a hidden agenda, promoting pornography by hiding it under a worthwhile cause.
