I AM a disabled passenger who uses bus services.
I got on a Number 4 ftr bus, which broke down going to Rougier Street.
When I did arrive there, I got on the Number 9 silver line bus as I had an appointment at Monkgate.
Because the bus did not stop as I pressed the bell, I had to stay on until the next stop. I heard the bell ring, but obviously the driver didn't hear it. I had to walk 30 metres and, as I say, I am disabled.
The Number 4 ftr broke down again on me the following day, when I had an appointment at York Hospital.
Bring the old buses back. There was nothing wrong with them.
The ftr is wasted money, and it takes too long for any journey.
