Barbican, RI Amateurs and Shipton A' have all won three games and lost one in division one of the York Veterans' Bowls League, but Barbican are on top by virtue of a better shots difference.
Shipton A' scored six shots at the last end to beat Bert Keech 23-19.
West Park A' are undefeated in division two after toppling nearest rivals Scarcroft 20-10 to take a two-point lead.
Museum head the way in division three having only dropped one point so far. Dunnington B' are in second place two points in arrears.
In division four, Osbaldwick A' are top with a better shots difference than Acomb B', who have a game in hand.
Dringhouses A' are top of division five level on points with RI Spartans, who have played two games more. Osbaldwick B and Acomb A' lead division six after both teams having won all their games.
Huntington WMC have withdrawn from the league.
