YOUNG Amy Taylor made a big impression for New Earswick Swimming Club at the Doncaster Dartes Graded Gala at Adwick Leisure Centre.

She won the Top Girl trophy in the 11 years age group with gold in the 50 metres breaststroke, silver in the 50m butterfly and bronze in the individual medley.

Stephanie Gould won the Top Girl trophy in the open age group for swimmers aged 16 and over with two wins and three second places.

Earswick dominated that section as Sarah Beall (two golds, one silver and a bronze) and Emily Broadbent (a silver and four bronze medals) shared second place.

Jessica Oliver improved on her best time in the ten years 50m backstroke to earn a speeding ticket for exceeding the fastest grade time allowed.
