YORK City Trust Board member Michael Oglesby made a distasteful remark when he questions Matthew Flint's "ulterior motive" in The Press (Saturday, May 27).
Matthew has donated many hours working behind the bar of the Social Club voluntarily and donated his time on many fundraising efforts and was one of the original bucketeers during the Save City' campaign. He has not sought publicity but done the job he felt he could do to help the club.
Mr Oglesby should retract his comments immediately. I hope the Trust Board will discipline him for this public outburst against one of their own members. After all, they were quick to suspend Mike Grant when he spoke out in The Press.
