Of course you were not wrong to print the photograph of the man jumping from a York hotel window.
In the thirties and forties, when the giants of Fleet Street were icons, your photograph would have been acclaimed as a brilliant "scoop".
The picture of the crowd at the scene of the incident was also an excellent social record of the mentality of today's youth to whom everything, even a tragic suicide attempt, is just a laugh! Publish and be damned, I say. Well done!
